DOK.forum the industry platform of DOK.fest München, is now open for project submissions. 

The market for co-creation and co-production at DOK.fest Munich is looking for strong documentary film projects in all stages of development and formats for the next festival edition taking place from May 7 to 11, 2026.

In particular, projects with great potential for international co-productions (DOK.forum Pitch), a relevant share of archive material (DOK.archive), film composition ideas (DOK.composition), and student concepts (DOK.talent) are being sought.

Completed innovative projects from the DACH region that combine different media formats can be submitted for the DOK.digital Award for New Narrative Formats. DOK.digital Award– for New Narrative Formats.

The submission deadline is January 16, 2026, except for the DOK.digital Award (January 31, 2026) and the DOK.talent Award (March 2, 2026).
