Following the renewal of the Canada–South Africa Audio-Visual Co-production agreement in September 2024, a need emerged to bridge key information gaps to facilitate better collaboration between industry stakeholders. 

Both sides have expressed interest in gaining a deeper understanding of each other’s media landscapes to better identify opportunities for partnership. 

This session will explore these gaps, with a focus on funding sources and industry support in both countries.
