The 97th Academy Awards was held at the Dolby Theatre in LA on March 2.

Sean Baker’s “Anora” celebrated a remarkable victory at the 97th Academy Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, hosted by Conan O’Brien. The independent film won five awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress. Additionally, “The Brutalist” emerged as another major winner, with three award wins.

South African film “The Last Ranger” lost to “I’m Not a Robot” in the Best Live Action Short Film category.
