The Commercial Producers Association of South Africa (CPA) has announced its newly elected Executive Committee for the 2024-2026 term, following the Annual General Meeting held earlier this month.

The new CPA Executive Committee members are:

• Emma Lundy – Giant Films
• Shayne Brookstein – Moonlighting
• Libbi Ball – Migrate Films
• Zayd Halim – Patriot Films
• Linda Bogle – Your Girlfriend
• Lebo Mabuela – First Pencil
• Darren Gordon – They
• Adam Thal – The Star Film Company

As a professional trade association representing production companies that specialise in television commercials for both domestic and international markets, the CPA plays a crucial role in the industry.

Bobby Amm, Executive Officer of the CPA, expressed to The Callsheet: “We are thrilled to welcome a new Executive Committee, especially newcomers Emma Lundy (Giant Films), Shayne Brookstein (Moonlighting), and Libbi Ball (Migrate Films). This committee is elected to serve a two-year term, concluding at the end of 2026.

“The challenges ahead are significant, and the new Executive Committee will prioritise key issues and implement strategies to safeguard and future-proof the commercial sector.

“Over the past two years, the CPA has been actively addressing legislation that threatens our industry and concerns related to our supply chain. In the coming year, we aim to shift our focus towards supporting our members, agencies, and clients, both locally and internationally,” Amm stated.
